Hey Friends, Let's Build Some Cool 3D Stuff!
So, you know I've been working on GrandpaCAD – this little tool to help my grandpa (and hopefully others!) make 3D models just by describing them. No complicated software, just words.
What's In It For You? (Besides My Eternal Gratitude)
- I'll 3D Print Your Creations: If you make something cool and it's reasonably 3D printable, I'll print it out as a thank you! We can decorate the coworking space or something.
- Loads of Free Generations: The more you use it, the better. If you want *more* generations, just send me a message, and I'll hook you up.
My Ulterior Motives (Okay, Not So Ulterior)
I'm not just doing this for kicks (though it is fun). I've got a few goals here, and your help would be amazing:
- Spotting Bugs & Weirdness: You guys are smart. You'll probably find ways to use (and misuse) this that I haven't thought of. Let me know what breaks or feels clunky.
- Is the UX Any Good?: Does it make sense? Is interface simple to use? Your honest feedback here is gold.
- Cost Estimation: Running these AI models isn't free. Your usage will help me figure out the actual costs involved. (Don't worry, this round's on me!)
- Show Me The Models!: I'd love to see what you create. It'll give me some awesome examples to show off and help me understand what people actually want to make.
