How does the 30% split work?

You have 30% of each referred customer's subscription value to allocate for their first 12 months. Keep it all as your commission, give some back as an audience discount, or split it. For example: 20% commission and a 10% discount for your audience, or 15% each way, or 30% with no discount at all. You pick what works for how you promote.

Why would I give any to my audience?

A discount code gives fence-sitters a concrete reason to act. For review content or price-sensitive audiences, a 10-15% discount can lift your conversion rate enough that you end up earning more total, even at a lower percentage. For tight-knit communities where your recommendation carries a lot of weight, you probably don't need it.

Can I change my split later?

Yes. If your current split isn't converting, reach out and we'll adjust. We want you set up for what actually works.

How long does the cookie last?

90 days. If someone clicks your link and subscribes within 90 days, the referral is credited to you.

When and how do I get paid?

Payouts process monthly on Net 30 terms (commissions from month 1 pay out at end of month 2). We pay via PayPal or bank transfer. No minimum for PayPal; bank transfers require at least $50.

Is there a minimum audience size?

No hard minimum. Fit and engagement matter more than follower count. A focused community of 500 makers converts better than 50,000 people with no interest in 3D printing.

What if my referral upgrades their plan?

Your commission adjusts automatically to their new subscription amount.

Can I run paid ads with my affiliate link?

Generally yes, but not on branded keywords ("GrandpaCAD" and close variants). Reach out after you're accepted and we'll align on specifics.
