Mirror 3D models online

Mirror an STL, OBJ, or 3MF model along the X, Y, or Z axis to make left and right versions of a part. Free, in your browser, with corrected normals.

Mirror the attached model across the X axis

Files are processed entirely in your browser. Nothing is uploaded to a server.

Any 3D edit is just a prompt away.

When do you need to mirror a model?

Any time a design comes in a single orientation and you need the opposite hand: a right shoe last, a left bracket, symmetric drone arms, hinges, or cosplay armor pieces. Attach the file, pick the axis, and download the flipped copy. Normals are corrected automatically, so the mirrored mesh stays printable.

Frequently asked questions

Why do mirrored STLs sometimes print inside-out?
A plain negative scale reverses the triangle winding order, which flips every surface normal. Some tools skip fixing that, so slicers see an inside-out shell. This tool re-winds every triangle after mirroring, so the output is a valid solid.
Which axis should I mirror across?
For a left/right pair in printer orientation, mirror across X. Use the live preview to check; the flipped model updates as soon as you run the tool.
