FBX to GLB converter

Drop a FBX file, check the preview, download GLB. The conversion runs in your browser, so your model never leaves your device.

Convert the attached FBX file to GLB

Files are processed entirely in your browser. Nothing is uploaded to a server.

Any 3D edit is just a prompt away.

How the conversion works

FBX is Autodesk's interchange format for meshes, materials, rigs, and animation. Maya, 3ds Max, Blender, Unity, and Unreal all read and write it, which makes it common for models that started life as game or film assets.

The converter writes GLB, so the result loads directly in web viewers, e-commerce embeds, and most game engines.

FBX records its own unit setting, and the converter reads it so the result comes out in millimeters whatever the file was authored in. If your model still lands at the wrong scale, the source FBX declared the wrong units, and the scale tool will fix it in one step.

Frequently asked questions

Does my file get uploaded?
No. Parsing and export run in your browser with WebAssembly and three.js. The file stays on your device, and it works offline once the page has loaded.
What survives the FBX to GLB conversion?
The mesh comes through in full, scaled to millimeters. Everything else FBX carries — materials, textures, skeletons, skinning weights, and animation takes — is dropped, because GLB has nowhere to put it.
Is there a file size limit?
Files up to 300 MB and 8 million triangles work. Heavier meshes take longer rather than failing outright; if a file is unwieldy, reduce its triangle count first with the reduce tool.
