Drop a FBX file, check the preview, download OBJ. The conversion runs in your browser, so your model never leaves your device.
Files are processed entirely in your browser. Nothing is uploaded to a server.
Any 3D edit is just a prompt away.
FBX is Autodesk's interchange format for meshes, materials, rigs, and animation. Maya, 3ds Max, Blender, Unity, and Unreal all read and write it, which makes it common for models that started life as game or film assets.
The converter writes a plain OBJ that imports cleanly into Blender, Maya, and most game engines, which makes it a practical handoff format for further editing.
FBX records its own unit setting, and the converter reads it so the model comes out at its real size whatever units it was authored in. If your model still lands at the wrong scale, the source FBX declared the wrong units, and the scale tool will fix it in one step.
GrandpaCAD turns a text prompt into a ready-to-print 3D model. Functional parts, organic shapes, multi-color prints. No CAD skills needed.
